Steering Committee

The role of the Diversity & Inclusiveness Steering Committee is to provide ongoing input and monitoring against diversity and inclusiveness goals across Achievement First. Meeting monthly, this group reviews key indicators and provides feedback on overall priority plans, retention strategies and engagement across the network. This cross-functional group is made up of senior leaders from throughout the organization. Discussion topics have included:

  • Annual retention data and feedback on future retention plans
  • Preview and provide feedback on the overall plan for the diversity discussion series
  • Full-day session with Interaction Institute; overall change management and messaging
  • Review organizational health and talent review data sets; discuss retention plans
  • Prepare for engagement at spring retreats
  • Finalize diversity and inclusiveness plans for the next year
