Application and Hiring Process

What can you expect when you’re applying for a job with us? We want to make the process as seamless as possible, so while the specifics can vary from person to person, here’s an overview:

Apply: We accept applications on a rolling basis, and our recruitment team responds to all completed applications within seven business days.

Phone Interview: Selected applicants will participate in a phone interview with a member of our recruitment team. This call will focus on your previous experience and the content of your application.

Guest Lesson & In-Person Interview: After the phone interview, some applicants will be invited to an in-person interview at one of our schools in Connecticut, Brooklyn or Rhode Island. We'll be looking for your ability to lead a 25-45 minute guest lesson, and we’ll want to see your classroom management instincts, your overall teacher personality and lesson delivery. After the lesson, you'll reflect with school-based faculty and the recruitment team.

Reference Check:  A member of our recruitment team will contact your references at some point during the process. We will notify you before contacting any of your references.
